In Series 1, Sara Stevenson and Tara Van Der Vliet are investigating the question, ‘What is the foundation for our human moral values?’ Sara aims to bring clarity around ideas from Christian apologetics and Tara wants to bridge that to practical and lived experience. As Christians, we want to build a case for the Christian faith. At the start of the series, we will explore how Christianity has become weaponised by political administrations and societies and offer insights on how to navigate Christian nationalism. This is so we can clarify that true Christianity conveys Jesus as embodying both ‘truth and love’. We will offer reasons as to why the existence of God makes sense of objective moral facts and how the Christian worldview corresponds to human experience. Some of these conversations will lean more into the ideas and some of these conversations will engage stories and lived experience. Pastor Dan Lacich, from Oviedo City Church in Florida, features in some of these conversations to offer his wisdom and love for apologetics!
The charity that we are highlighting and supporting during this series 1 question is ‘Global Leadership Geneva Bern’. This is a Christian charity based in Switzerland that supports the ambassadors and diplomats of the United Nations through leadership coaching and relational support.
